This is a rigorous course that emphasizes reading and writing about history using primary sources and drawing connections between events. Students take an AP exam in May that consists of 80 multiple choice questions and three essays, one of which includes ten documents that must be used in the student's response.
APUSH, as it is commonly known, is taken by more students than any other AP course offered by the College Board. Roswell High's students consistently score much higher than the national average on this exam.
